| Synopsis |
Since young, Rin Matsuoka (Mamoru Miyano 宫野真守) has been working hard to fulfil his deceased father’s dream of being on the world stage as a professional swimmer. His father was a medley relay swimmer, and, thus, this particular swimming event is dear to Rin. He hopes to assemble the best team to swim in a medley relay. His best friend since childhood and fellow swimmer Sosuke Yamazaki (voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya 细谷佳正); however, opposes the idea, which led to a conflict between the two. Rin then leaves for Australia to further his skills, aiming for a better future.
In Australia, Rin experiences a skill gap between himself and the swimmers of the world. He returns to Japan later, and enrols in the Samezuka Academy, where he soon proves his capabilities in the swimming club. In the spring of his third year at high school, Rin reunites with Sosuke at the Samezuka Academy, and is delighted to be able to swim side by side with him again in the swimming club. Little did he know that there is a motive behind Sosuke’s move to the Samezuka Academy in their last year at high school... |
