Synopsis
The sixth feature film from renowned Tibetan director Pema Tseden was produced by Wong Kar Wai and is set on the Kekexili Plateau. The story starts off with truck driver Jinpa who accidentally runs over and kills a sheep as he traverses on an isolated road. He then picks up a young hitchhiker who is on his way to kill a man who murdered his father 10 years ago. Although they part ways later, the coincidence of these two incidents haunts Jinpa as he tries desperately to track down the hitchhiker and stop the murder.
