| Synopsis |
BADAK is a deaf single father raising his daughter, MIRAH, alone. While they live in a perfect little bubble — working in their perfect little burger stall, in their perfect little world together — the only thing that “separates” Badak and Mirah is her passion for hip-hop music.
Everything changes one day when Mirah’s debut hip-hop performance makes her an overnight sensation!
While the world fawns over Mirah’s immense talent, Badak continues to struggle and understand his daughter’s passion in hip-hop. The impossibility of connecting with her through music does not escape Badak as he desperately finds new ways to stay connected with Mirah or lose her forever.
But as the gulf between their two worlds widen and Mirah gets the opportunity to have a true career in hip-hop, Badak realizes that the only way to connect with Mirah may not lie in understanding her music but by “listening"…
