“Backstreet Rookie” Unveils New Teaser Posters

Based on a popular Korean webtoon, Backstreet Rookie is a romantic-comedy revolving around a convenience store owner Choi Dae-hyun (Ji Chang-wook) and his part-time employee Jung Saet-byul (Kim Yoo-jung).

The official poster that was released gives off a cheerful vibe with its bright colours and cheerful looks. Upon closer inspection, we can see that Ji Chang-wook looking slightly lost and puzzled by Kim Yoo-jong’s arm casually around him. This would make viewers further anticipate the chemistry the two stars will give in this new drama!



The production team also released a group poster with all the essential cast and individual posters of Ji Chang-wook and Kim Yoo-jung's characters. The design of the posters takes on a science-fiction, an interesting choice for an ironic mismatch for a romantic-comedy in a convenience store. Check it out below!





Backstreet Rookie will premiere on June 19 at 10PM KST.
