Critically-acclaimed Taiwan Comedy to Release in Singapore!

By InCinemas  /  11 Sep 2013 (Wednesday)

Warner Bros. Singapore will be bringing the Taiwan comedy Zone Pro Site: The Moveable Feast <总铺师:移动大厨> to Singapore this October!

This highly-anticipated film from award-winning Taiwanese director Chen Yu-Hsun is Warner Bros. Taiwan’s first local co-production. It opened at home on 16 August to critical acclaim and outstanding box office results. To date, it has grossed NT$211,773,735 (USD7million), targeting a final box office result of NT$330,000,000 (USD11million).

A comedy of epic culinary proportions, Zone Pro Site: The Moveable Feast <总铺师:移动大厨> starts off more than twenty years ago, when three “Ban-doh” (outdoor banquet) Master Chefs dominated the catering business in Taiwan. They were known as “Master Silly Mortal”, “Master Ghost Head” and “Master Fly Spirit”. However, the outdoor banquet business went into decline since Taiwan’s economic take-off, and even the Master Chefs could not turn the tides of change.

“Master Fly Spirit” bestows the family recipes and culinary skills on to his only child, Wan, but she desperately wants to run away from the family business and become a fashion model. Nevertheless, Wan is destined to take up the challenge and mission she once shunned.
