Kpop Group Lunafly Hopes to Visit Singapore 10 times in 2014!

Last weekend was definitely a sweet delight for Lukies (Fans of Lunafly) for the three boys gave an early Christmas treat where they sang, signed autographs and interacted with the fans here.

This is their second time in Singapore where they first performed in May and leader Sam Carter revealed that he hopes Lunafly will be able to visit the fans again in 2014! The lead singer jokes: “We’ve been to Singapore now twice in 2013, which is amazing and next year we hope to come to Singapore maybe 10 times? But maybe once a month... Yes?”

It’s definitely a good year for this acoustic Kpop band who shines with their voices and talents.

“It’s a good year! We did a lot in 2013. We released our first full album. 5 singles I think we had and I’ve been doing a bit of radio,” Carter, the 26-year-old leader said.

So what do the three boys, Carter, Teo and Yun want for Christmas? Drummer and pianist Teo said he would like more letters and cards from the fans while youngest member Yun hopes to receive a guitar. “We love reading things from fans, so for us that’s the best thing,” Carter continued.

“To us, Christmas is kind of a big deal, as to us musicians, there are great Christmas songs out there which we love to sing and play.”

Recently, the band ventured into singing foreign covers, such as the recent Spanish song ‘Corre’, which they received rave comments on their YouTube video. When asked about future covers of other languages, Carter mentioned Mandarin covers, to which the other members nodded in unison.

He continued: “Mandarin is something that we really want to try definitely, but it’s a little difficult. We’ve tried but nobody understands it. I think we need more practice but trust me, we really want to do it.”
