The 'Tonight Show' Host Jimmy Fallon to Host Golden Globes 2017!

It is announced that the chatshow host Jimmy Fallon will host next year’s Golden Globes award ceremony in January 2017, the prestigious evening that honours the best in film and television.

This marks Fallon’s first hosting gig for the ceremony, and might be a good takeover from Ricky Gervais who didn’t sit well with audience and fans when he went too far with some of his jokes at this year’s ceremony.

Fallon, who is the host of The Tonight Show has been known to be a warm and easy host with his ‘friend-to-the-stars’ approach. He even has a few viral videos circulating around the web, thanks to the creative games like ‘Celebrity Whispers’, ‘Wheel of Impressions’ and most recently, ‘Slow Jam the News’ with President Obama.

He previously fronted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2010.
