Korean Blockbuster ‘Operation Chromite’ which Stars Liam Neeson Opens in Singapore 15th Sep!

Korean blockbuster ‘Operation Chromite’ is set to hit the big screens in Singapore on 15th September, exactly 66 years after the actual activation on 15th September 1950 at Incheon in South Korea!

The war-themed blockbuster was released in South Korea on 27th July, and topped its domestic box office chart with over 2.6 million admissions during its opening week, beating zombie hit TRAIN TO BUSAN and Hollywood blockbuster JASON BOURNE during that week in. It went on to garner an impressive 6 million admissions during its run in South Korea.

The movie epics a secret mission led by UN Command’s Supreme Commander General MacArthur that turned the tide of war when North Korea invaded the South with support from the Soviet Union. The movie stars Hollywood actor Liam Neeson, making his Korean movie debut, alongside Korean A-list actors Lee Jung-jae (ASSASSINATION) and Lee Bum-soo (IRIS: NEW GENERATION).
