Aquaman is the Highest-grossing DC Film Ever!

Move over Batman and Superman, the King of Atlantis is now the King of the box office as Aquaman is officially the highest-grossing DCEU film to date.

The movie, starring Jason Momoa has reached over $943 million (as of 8 Jan) worldwide, beating Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which grossed $873 when it screened in 2016. It is only a question of when the superhero flick will cross the $1 billion mark. If so, it’ll be the third DC Comics movie to cross that significant milestone after The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

The film which stars Amber Heard as Mera, Nicole Kidman at Atlanna, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master and Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko is directed by James Wan.
