Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck make roti canai in new animated short film

Do you like roti canai or satay? Do you like Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck?

The Disney Channel South-east Asia has released a series of animated short films featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Goofy in Singaporean and Malaysian backdrops that showcase local food, architecture and fashion.

“We are committed to creating locally appealing stories that are relevant to our fans. The Mickey Go Local animated shorts are the first time our beloved characters are seen enjoying Southeast Asia’s charms, providing heartwarming moments for kids and families,” said Amit Malhotra, Regional Lead of The Walt Disney Company.

The first episode stars Goofy deciding whether or not to sample Donald Duck's roti canai or Mickey Mouse's satay.

The animated series is part of the “Mickey Go Local” initiative, now in its second year.

A new episode will be launched every month until January 2020.
