Priyanka Chopra to star in a Netflix superhero movie

Actress Priyanka Chopra will team up with Alita: Battle Angel director Robert Rodriguez in the upcoming Netflix film “We Can Be Heroes”, a superhero movie for kids.

It also stars Narcos actor Pedro Pascal, Christian Slater, Boyd Holbrook, Christopher McDonald and child stars Akira Akbar, Nathan Blair, Andy Walken, YaYa Gosselin, Hala Finley and Isaiah Russell-Bailey. Rodriguez previously directed Alita: Battle Angel and the Spy Kids franchise, so this feels like the children superhero movie genre is right up his alley.

The film follows the children of Earth’s superheroes after their parents have been kidnapped by alien invaders. The children must team up and learn to work together if they want to save their parents and the world.

After her successful run of Quantico, Chopra has been starred in films like Baywatch, alongside Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Alexandra Daddario, and most recently seen opposite Rebel Wilson in “Isn’t It Romantic”.
