Festival de Cannes Film Week in Hong Kong announces lineup

The inaugural Festival de Cannes Film Week will be held at the K11 Art House and will screen six films from the Official Selection 2019 of Festival de Cannes, in addition to masterclasses and film presentations.

Poised to become the city’s most iconic film week, the first Festival de Cannes Film Week in Hong Kong takes the spirit of the 72nd Festival de Cannes on a journey, sharing the work of the world’s greatest artists by rolling out the red carpet on the opening night on 12 November 2019 in an unprecedented celebration of creativity, culture and cinema.

Six highly acclaimed films from the Official Selection of the 72nd Festival de Cannes will make their premiere in Hong Kong. Shown either in Competition or in Un Certain Regard, the films represent cinematographic works from around the world: French, Italian, Belgium, Brazilian and American.

Beyond experiencing some of the year’s most remarkable films, there are three masterclasses not to be missed - Jean-Pierre & Luc Dardenne, Thierry Frémaux and a special surprise guest will be conducting classes and film presentations!
