Over the past few months, movie releases have been delayed over and over again due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Before COVID-19, Venom: Let There Be Carnage was reportedly in post-production but now due to lock-down situations in US and elsewhere, it has has shifted to 2021. The current situation also forced virtually every movie and TV show production to go into indefinite hiatus.
In the second installation of the Venom franchise, we will see Tom Hardy reprise the titular alien symbiote role, Venom. Woody Harrelson is Venom’s nemesis - Cletus Kasady, a psychotic killer who also has an alien symbiote residing in him, and goes by the name Carnage.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage was slated to open in October 2020 and will now be out InCinemas June 24 2021 in Singapore.
