Netflix’s New Gritty Action Film ‘The Old Guard’ Set To Premiere

Netflix will be releasing a new gritty action film titled The Old Guard. It will be led by Charlize Theron in the leading role of Andy. The film's setting is in the hidden world of mercenaries, and it will be an actioned pack film not to be missed! The Old Guard is directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (‘The Secret Life of Bees’, ‘Beyond the Light’) and the screenplay is written by comic writer Greg Rucka (‘Batwoman’, ‘Superman: World of New Krypton’).

Synopsis: Led by a warrior named Andy (Charlize Theron), a covert group of tight-knit mercenaries with a mysterious inability to die have fought to protect the mortal world for centuries. But when the team is recruited to take on an emergency mission and their extraordinary abilities are suddenly exposed, it’s up to Andy and Nile (Kiki Layne), the newest soldier to join their ranks, to help the group eliminate the threat of those who seek to replicate and monetize their power by any means necessary.

The Old Guard will be released on Netflix on 10 July 2020.
