The first teaser for The Batman is here and it's gritty goodness!

The DC FanDome film panels ended with what is possibly the most-anticipated film in their slate, Matt Reeves' The Batman starring Robert Pattinson in the titular role.

Pattinson did not join the panel but he was present to introduce it and remind viewers to "stay till the end for the anticipated surprise." Director Matt Reeves then joined host Aisha Tyler at the Hall of Heroes to reveal more about the film and answer some fan questions.

The trailer reveals a lot but also leaves room for a lot of questions. Some of the characters from the film were seen but not heard (Commissioner Gordon, Catwoman and Penguin) while some were heard but not seen (Alfred and The Riddler). We do however get to hear Pattinson's version of the deep Bat-voice and can we just say, we can't wait to see more!
