There's more to the surprising cameo in Mulan than we know!

We will be talking about the much-anticipated film -
Disney's Mulan
, that opened in cinemas last week - so if you haven't seen it yet, don't proceed any further unless you're okay with spoilers. But also,
what are you waiting for
?
You have been warned..
Ming-Na Wen, who voiced Mulan in the 1998 animated film, surprised fans when she showed up at the end of the new live-action film. She played the role of an “Esteemed Guest” introducing Liu Yifei's Mulan to the Emperor, a cameo appearance that was kept secret up until the film's release.
However, the initialy plan was for her to be in an entirely different scene. According to Ming-Na, she was going to be the potential mother-in-law for the matchmaker scene but that didn’t work out because of weather interference that clashed with her
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
. schedule.
Thankfully, it all worked out in the end and Ming-Na still got her cameo appearance despite it being a smaller role than initially planned.
