Netflix Comedy Starring Adam Sandler Debuts 1st Trailer

Titled Hubie Halloween, the comedy movie includes stars like Maya Rudolph, Julie Bowen, Kevin James, Kenan Thompson, Mikey Day, Ray Liotta, Tim Meadows and Shaquille O’Neal.

The movie is part of Netflix’s extended deal with Sandler’s company Happy Madison to come up with films for the streaming site. The deal has seen films on Netflix like Murder Mystery, which also stars Jennifer Aniston.

Sandler plays Hubie Dubois, a guy who spends every Halloween ensuring that his fellow Salem residents “celebrate safely and play by the rules.” But this year, an escaped criminal and a mysterious new neighbor have Hubie on high alert. When people start disappearing, it’s up to Hubie to convince the police (Kevin James, Kenan Thompson) and townsfolk that the monsters are real, and only he can stop them.
