Netflix has officially acquired 'The Woman in the Window'

The long-awaited thriller starring Amy Adams - The Woman in the Window -has finally found a home at Netflix!

The movie, an adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same name, has been sitting on the shelf for over a year. It has been sitting in release limbo ever since a failed test screening that resulted in reshoots. From it's original opening date in October 2019 to May 2020 to possibly never (no thanks to the pandemic), The Woman in the Window is now finally ready to show her face.

Adams plays Anna Fox, an agoraphobic child psychologist who lives alone in a New York suburb, and while spying on some of her neighbors, witnesses something she shouldn’t have. Anthony Mackie, Wyatt Russell, and Gary Oldman also star.

The Woman in the Window will reportedly premiere on Netflix sometime “in the first half of the year.”
