Golden Village (GV) at Bugis+ has officially opened its doors!
To celebrate its launch, GV Bugis+ is running a slew of promotions in its first week. Here's what you can look out for:
- From 10 to 12 March (Friday to Sunday): Patrons who use DBS PayLah! for ticket purchases at GV Bugis+ will be entitled to S$9 movie tickets. Limited to 250 tickets a day.
- From 13 to 16 March (Monday to Thursday): Patrons who use DBS PayLah! for ticket purchases at GV Bugis+ will be entitled to S$6 movie tickets. Limited to 250 tickets a day.
- 16 March (Thursday): Receive a free goodie bag worth S$70 (includes Shazam! Fury of the Gods movie premiums and more!). Limited to the first 200 patrons who walk in and buy a minimum of two movie tickets.
Facts about GV Bugis+:
1. It is located at Level 5 of Bugis+, replacing Filmgarde which closed down in 2022.
2. The new outlet has a total of eight halls – featuring plush seats and state-of-the-art Barco cinema laser projection system, which delivers "consistent, sharp image quality over time" and "better colour quality".
3. For the first time, there will be two Gold Class Express halls within one multiplex. Each hall is bigger, accommodating up to 40 seats.
4. They also offer single-seating at Gold Class Express! Perfect for solo moviegoers.
5. The seats in the Gold Class Express halls are leatherette electronic recliners with a 90º adjustable leg rest and its own USB charging port!
6. If you're feeling peckish for something other than popcorn, there's also a restaurant located within the multiplex! Azul offers Spanish and Mexican cuisine that include starters, mains, sides, desserts and drinks – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. View their menu here.
