After months of eager anticipation, The Hunger Games is now open for advance booking three weeks before its 22 March opening! And you bet we're so going to watch this! It's in our Top 10 Must-Watch Movie Blockbusters in 2012!

Following the first day advance ticket-seller new record set by The Hunger Games in Los Angeles, Cathay Cineplexes has announced today it will be opening its advance ticketing sales for the highly anticipated movie from today, 2 March 2012!

Based on the best-selling novel by Suzanne Collins and part of a trilogy, The Hunger Games narrates the story of how a teenage girl, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence), from District 12 of the evil Capitol of the nation of Panem, has to decide between survival and humanity, and life and love in a bid to outlive the other ‘Tributes’ in a nationally televised event.
