One of the longest running film festivals in Singapore, the European Union Film Festival (EUFF) promises even more film titles in its 22nd edition.
Its rich and varied programme will reflect European cinema and culture at a time of change as the 23 films curated bring audiences on a cinematic journey across Europe, to cosmopolitan countries like Germany and France, and to places few Singaporeans have been to such as Iceland, Slovakia, and Bulgaria.
With more sophisticated audiences looking for more variety in their cinematic diet, the EUFF comes at the right time as it gives film enthusiasts (and perhaps the casual moviegoer) the opportunity to explore award-winning films from Europe that ordinarily would not make it to the big screen here.

The EUFF is the perfect antidote to the near approaching season of Hollywood summer blockbusters, and gives the Singapore cinema scene a more vibrant and culturally rich look.
Every year, the EUFF partners a film school to showcase student shorts alongside the European features. This year, Lasalle's Puttnam School of Film is proud to be the partner with EUFF as they seek to showcase the works of student filmmakers to more Singaporeans.

Ticket sales for EUFF begins on 26 April 2012 at any GV Box Office, online at www.gv.com.sg, and at AXS machines islandwide.
