Golden Village to hold a Movie-themed Race and Naming Contest for the new GV City Square

In celebration of the opening of Golden Village’s (GV) 11th multiplex at City Square Mall, GV is inviting the public to challenge their knowledge of films by participating in the game GV City Square - The Great Movie Race on 24 November 2012.

Also, the cinema is getting members of the public involved in naming their newly launched ‘Couple’s Cinema’ at City Square Mall! Win a private screening at the newly-named cinema if your entry is chosen! Find out more below!

The Great Movie Race marks Golden Village’s first movie-themed race, specially organized in celebration of GV City Square’s launch this month. Golden Village’s The Great Movie Race consists of several pit stops which require team members to perform different tasks before proceeding to the next destination.

The first team to complete the race will stand to win S$1,800 worth of cash and prizes.
Registration opens from 15 November to 18 November at City Square Mall.

Movie-themed race is all about movies, movies and movies!

Open to all members of the public, teams of two can enter for a qualifying round by registering and answering a movie quiz on the spot; the top 10 teams with the highest scores will then be selected to take part in the race.

For the first time in Singapore’s cinema history, Golden Village invites the public to have a stake in naming their new cinema product for couples at GV City Square. This is part of GV City Square’s new initiative of letting movie patrons be involved in the running of the cinema.

Name the new 'Couple's Cinema'

Winner will be contacted via email by 30 November.

The ‘Couple’s Cinema’ features a unique seating layout where pairs of cinema seats are separated from one another, allowing couples to cosy-up in their private space.
