After the local army horror hit 23:59 performed S$1.6 million at the box office back in 2011, the filmmakers set forth to bring another supernatural-themed movie on the big screen, and this time revolving around a family haunted by a Toyol.
Helmed once again by 23:59 director Gilbert Chan, Ghost Child will soon be shown in Singapore theatres on 7 March 2013! Check out its latest movie poster after the jump!
Like 23:59, Ghost Child movie poster is straight-forward to tell what it is all about without featuring its cast prominently in it. But if you were to take a closer look, there is a shattered family portrait on the ground. Could this be a hint as to how the story will be heading? A broken family?
With the shadow of the Toyol on the wall, the challenge is made through its tagline "你敢玩吗?", meaning "Do you dare to play?".. Dolls you once held dear might not feel the same after watching this movie.

Ghost Child stars Singapore award-winning veteran MediaCorp actor Chen Han Wei 陈汉玮, Jayley 胡佳琪 and famous model-actress Carmen Soo 苏慧敏 from Malaysia.
The movie tells the story of Kim (Jayley), a teenager overcoming the grief of her mother’s death. A series of mysterious and strange incidents start to occur after Kim’s dad (Chen Han Wei) brought home a woman (Carmen Soo) from Indonesia one day and announces to marry her. What is behind the series of strange and mysterious happenings? Could it be the jealous spirit of Kim’s mother, or is it something else?
