By InCinemas  /  02 May 2013 (Thursday)
A total of 28 outstanding films will be shown at the 23rd European Union Film Festival (EUFF) this May!

These 28 films represent the best of European cinema, have been handpicked for the 23rd EUFF, the largest line-up of films ever for Singapore’s second-longest running film festival!

(Check out the official website for more information and film schedule!)

23rd European Union Film Festival 2013
Date: 15 - 26 May
Venue: Shaw Lido

(Book your tickets online now!)

Jointly organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Singapore (EU) and the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU, the 23rd EUFF will feature acclaimed films which have never been released commercially here and films that have earned the praise of audiences worldwide.

(The Deep Blue Sea (UK): 24 May 2013)

They include films by renowned directors Olivier Assayas from France, Italian Academy Award-winner Gabriele Salvatores, and Austrian filmmaker Michael Haneke.

The 10-day long festival will open with a sneak preview of the new Irish-Singapore production Mister John, a poignant story of loss and redemption set in Singapore. The film – starring Singaporean actress Zoe Tay and Irish actor Aidan Gillen – will be shown exclusively to invited guests at the EUFF opening gala. The public, however, will have to wait till later this year for its commercial release.

Be sure to grab your tickets from shaw.sg and be a part of this film festival! After all, film is a universal language we speak, share and enjoy.
