RED SPARROW - London Premiere and Washington Screening

Red Sparrow stars Jennifer Lawrence and Joel Edgerton along with director Francis Lawrence was in Washington DC on 15 February for a sold-out special event at the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Theater. Per the sponsors' website, the event was a New York Times Timestalks “conversation” about Russian espionage, double-dealing, and female empowerment – the subjects of the new spy thriller “Red Sparrow”.

The event was followed by a special screening of Red Sparrow held at the Washington D.C. Newseum, “a museum dedicated to increasing public understanding of the importance of a free press and the First Amendment”.

On 19 February, Jennifer Lawrence and Joel Edgerton with director Francis Lawrence headed to London for the European Premiere of RED SPARROW. The stars descended on the red carpet in the heart of the city’s Leicester Square at the Vue West Cinemas. Also in attendance for the film were Matthias Schoenaerts, Jeremy Irons, Sergei Polunin, Joely Richardson, Nicole O'Neill.
