2016 hasn’t been a great year for movies. With many reboots and sequels that didn't live up to their predecessors, others didn’t quite make the mark. In addition, there are a handful of films that we simply expected more, but turned out otherwise. 

 
Here are the 10 disappointing films of 2016.

We definitely thought adding A-listers like Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain, together with burly Chris Hemsworth will make an interesting take on the fantastical world of Snow White and the Queens of the ice kingdom; but it seems like no amount of magic could save this prequel.
