Synopsis
Guang is the inspirational story of Wen Guang, an autistic young man who struggles to integrate in a society that discriminates against him. Even with his brother’s help, Wen Guang finds it difficult to hold a decent job. One day, his prodigious talent for music emerges. The film earned 4 nominations at the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) Asian New Talent Awards and won the Kumamoto City Award at Focus on Asia Fukuoka International Film Festival 2018, Best New Director and Best New Actor Awards at the 13th Chinese Youth Generation Film Forum as well as the Jury Award at the Golden Koala Film Awards 2019.
