Batman Ninja Streams This Week

Ever since the X-men animated in 2011, the inner geeks within us have been wanting more.

Fast forward to 2017, New York Comic Con, where we caught a glimpse of Batman Ninja with the Dark Knight being transported back in time to the middle ages in Japan. Meet Harley Queen, Alfred, Catwoman, Robin and the villainous Lord Joker, who have also found their way to feudal Japan. But hey, we can’t simply call this new adaptation Batman Ninja without giving our Dark Knight and the Joker new Japanese armour and weapons. Or label Batman Ninja an anime without over the top action scenes, evil laughing villains with giant robots and monsters.

Sadly, Batman Ninja will only be coming to cinemas in Japan on 15 June 2018, possibly without a global premiere. The animated film will start streaming on digital platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, or PlayStation from 25 April 2018 with Blu-ray and DVD coming on 9 May 2018.
