Grumpy Grinch is Actually very Adorable in New ‘The Grinch’ Trailer.

A new trailer for Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures’ Christmas movie ‘The Grinch’ is out, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the eponymous grumpy green Grinch who isn’t the biggest fan of Christmas.

The animated feature is not just a remake of the original live-action movie adaption starring Jim Carrey in 2000, who notoriously nearly walked off set for the torturous prosthetics and makeup he had to go through each day. This time, the movie gives us a backstory about the Grinch as to why he grew up to hate Christmas that much. To say the least, little Grinch is an adorable orphan kid who didn’t get to enjoy the year-end celebrations. Awww...

After living in solidarity for many years, the neighbours of Who-ville decides to make Christmas bigger and brighter, and so the Grinch realises there is only one way for him to gain some peace and quiet - he must steal Christmas. To do so, he decides he will pose as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve, even going so far as to trap a misfit reindeer to pull his sleigh.

The Grinch is directed by Yarrow Cheney and Scott Mosier, and opens InCinemas 6 November 2018!
