Final “Joker” trailer is more than just creepy

Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker is giving us the chills… in a good way!

Send in the clowns. The latest and final trailer for Warner Bros. “Joker” shows us the origin story of how he became one of Gotham’s feared villain. It is one that is entirely a standalone and not exactly connected to WB’s DC universe. We may not be looking at any confrontation between Joker and the caped crusader.

The film focuses on the dark side of Arthur Fleck in the 70s, who finds himself gaining fame in the most unlikely and sinister way. A clown-for-hire by day, he aspires to be a stand-up comic at night, but finds that he becomes the butt of the joke each time… “Why so serious”.

Joker will be screening at various film festivals such as the Venice International Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival before heading to the big screen this October.
