It’s not just cool to see how Angelina Jolie transforms into one of Disney’s evil villains, Maleficent, with her two iconic black horns, but remember her overly-sharp cheekbones that could slice a slab of salmon sashimi? Well, this video shows the magic behind it - makeup.

Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Jolie reprises her role as the dark fairy Maleficent in the sequel titled “Disney's Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”. The first film grossed over $758.5 million at the worldwide box office in 2014. The film picks up several years after the first film, exploring the relationship between the horned villain and Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning), who will soon ascend the throne to be Queen. They form new alliances to protect the magical creatures that reside within.

Directed by Joachim Rønning, other cast members include Michelle Pfeiffer (Queen Ingrith), Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sam Riley, Harris Dickinson, Ed Skrein, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville.

Disneys Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is set to open InCinemas 17 October 2019.
