Vin Diesel is a superhero in the new ‘Bloodshot’ trailer

Sony Pictures released an international trailer for their upcoming superhero film, Bloodshot, with Vin Diesel taking on the titular role. The film is a big-screen adaption of the character from Valiant Comics, which was introduced in the early 1990s.

Directed by Dave Wilson, Diesel stars the superhero Ray Garrison, a.k.a Bloodshot. He is brought back to life by a science organisation, RST corporation. With nanotechnology in his veins, he is strong than ever and able to heal instantly, becoming indestructible. But in controlling his body, the company has control over his mind and memories, making him confused as to what is real and what’s not.

The trailer follows a series of action sequences that shows us exactly how powerful Garrison is - his fighting abilities and superhuman strength. However, it is also revealed that he is defenceless when it comes to the corporation toying with his mind, controlling him to serve their nefarious purposes.

Bloodshot is slated to open InCinemas 12 March 2020.
