Mark Wahlberg and Winston Duke star in action comedy ‘Spenser Confidential’

Directed by Peter Berg, the action-comedy Spenser Confidential stars Mark Wahlberg, Winston Duke, Alan Arkin, Iliza Shlesinger, Austin Post (aka Post Malone), and is slated to premiere on Netflix on 6 March.

Spenser (Wahlberg) is an ex-cop who finally is able to get out of prison. Upon his release, he gets roped into helping his old boxing coach and mentor, Henry (Alan Arkin), who is working with a promising up-and-comer, Hawk (Winston Duke). A brash, no-nonsense MMA fighter convinced he'll be a tougher opponent than Spenser ever was. To sweeten the pot, both are forced to be roommates and when two of Spenser’s former colleagues turn up murdered, he recruits Hawk and his ex-girlfriend, Cissy (Iliza Shlesinger), to help him investigate and bring the culprits to justice.

In the trailer, you’ll also see a short glimpse at rapper Post Malone in his live-action feature acting debut. The story is adapted from Wonderland, the 2013 novel by Ace Atkins who was picked by Parker's estate to continue the Spenser novel series after Parker's death in 2010.

Spenser Confidential premieres on 6 March on Netflix.
