Meet the new minion, Otto in the first ‘Minions 2: The Rise of Gru’ trailer

We saw a teaser of the first Minions 2: The Rise of Gru earlier this week that was aired during the Super Bowl. And today, Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have released the first full-length trailer of our favourite yellow minions and their villain master, Gru!

The upcoming film will be the follow-up to the studios’ smash-hit spin-off ‘Minions’, which grossed over $1.1 billion worldwide.

The trailer sees a little Gru at 12 years old, who dreams of becoming as the Vicious 6. Luckily, he gets some mayhem-making backup from his loyal followers, the Minions. Together with his minions, (and a new minion named Otto) they build their first weapons to pull off their first mission.

Steve Carell returns to voice Gru, and is joined by new cast of stars including Taraji P. Henson, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lucy Lawless, Dolph Lundgren and Danny Trejo.

Minions 2 : The Rise of Gru opens InCinemas 11 June 2020.
