Harrison Ford Returns In 'Blade Runner 2049' Teaser Trailer

Blade Runner
has always been the pinnacle of neo-noir sci-fi genre. Although it underperformed during its release in 1982, it has become a cult classic due to its unique dystopian future depiction and its moral and philosophical depth. Its sequel,
Blade Runner 2049
, will be released next year.
This teaser trailer does not give us much to analyse.
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
This film does seem to maintain the neo-noir look of its predecessor, with its heavy use of shadows and silhouettes.

Those unfamiliar with the original Blade Runner might enjoy seeing Ryan Gosling as one of the leads.

But fans would be most excited with Harrison Ford’s return in this sequel.
