The third instalment of the ‘Bad Boys’ franchise finds Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprising their iconic roles as Detective Lieutenant Michael Lowrey and Detective Lieutenant Marcus Burnett in the upcoming action film, "Bad Boys for Life".

The film actually began its development 10 years ago when the first screenwriter was hired to write the script, and Michael Bay was set to direct the franchise. Thereafter, another director, Joe Carnahan left the production as well. Over the years, Smith also had other projects to attend to, such as Focus, Concussion and Men in Black 2/3, as well as script iterations to suit the current audience. But! Here’s a trailer to get you all pumped up for the movie, which drops in January next year!

Bad Boys for Life is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, and also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton and Paola Nunez!
